Human Computer Interaction
The interaction between the computer and the user is a priority focus of the group. Our interests include not only how the user interfaces with the computer but how the computer interfaces with the user. Our research goes beyond the standard desktop to investigate the spectrum of possible interactions using both conventional and emerging technology and in particular with input and output modalities beyond just visuals. As such a particular focus is placed on full body interaction, using both the potentials of the human interactor and output technologies.
